This experiment didn't work, despite one website that outlines how to make a deer repellant with a normal 8ohm speaker ("see link above). I didn't get readings into my computer but I did overload my Arduino, which caused my computer to disconnect my USB port due to a current overload. I think the data wire also delivers power to the speaker, maybe I shouldn't have hooked up 5V power and data at same time.
Project shadowspace
Shadowspace continued: an ongoing exploration of urban voids, in-between space, and the intangible realm that lies at their periphery. Is it possible to generate form from the insubstantial?
Phase Two will concentrate on the use of different digital tools: scripting and programming in Maya's MEL language, and the ability of Max/MSP/Jitter to analyze and translate sound, video, and any other input into any output imaginable.
